Advanced Material Handling Submerged Ash Conveyor System

Advanced Material Handling Ltd submerged bottom ash conveyor. This conveyor engineered and designed for installation below a mass burn boiler in a waste to energy facility located in the USA. Our conveyor is equipped with case hardened 22x86MM mining chain and single bolt shackles. This chain is a double strand assembly with 1 "x 32" T100 abrasion resistant steel attachments. Our sprockets are 10 tooth split replacement style. Take-up system has (2) Royal air cylinders for constant take-up pressure at 250 PSI. The chain return rails are made from abrasion resistant AR400 plate and are designed to be bolt on replacement style. The conveyor chain is designed to transport ash at 14 feet per minute and dewater the ash as it transports up the incline. The chain is driven by a SM Cylco gear box with 195:1 reduction and a 7.5 HP Baldor motor with a 160 shear pin sprocket. Not shown in the video is the 60 feet of incline section as it was not practical for assembly testing. Automotive welding - www.fanucrobotics.com In this TRANTEK robotic mig welding system, automotive components are loaded into fixtures on dial tables, which clamp the parts before rotating into a cell where two FANUC Arc Mate 100iC robots use coordinated motion to weld the sub-assemblies together. The dial tables are fitted with both LH and RH tooling and automatically present the proper fixture to the operator and weld robots for the part being run at that time. This series of weld cells includes one sub assembly dial table weld cell, one sub assembly fixture with bowl fed bracket, one final assembly dial weld cell, and one material handling robot. A second fully automated weld cell features a FANUC M-10iA robot loading and unloading parts onto a fixture for a FANUC Arc Mate 100iC robot to weld, producing the second sub-assembled part. After the sub assemblies are completed, they are fed into a final welding cell where the parts are manually loaded onto a fixture table. M-1iA Electronic Connector Assembly Robot - FANUC Robotics Industrial Automation

Robotic Assembly System - fanucrobotics.com The FANUC M-1iA/0.5A is a six-axis robot with a unique parallel-link design, making it ideal for the assembly application we'll see in this video. In this assembly demonstration, electric connector pins are moved into the robot's work area along an infeed conveyor. These pins are randomly oriented and are visible to the M-1iA robot through a built-in camera that utilizes FANUC Robotics' 2D iRVision. There are two cameras used in this system. The first camera -- mounted on the head of the M-1iA robot - faces downward, and detects the orientation of the randomly located pins on the conveyor. A monitor shows what this camera is seeing. Once a pin is picked up from the conveyor, the robot presents the end of the pin to a second camera used to find the pin's orientation. This second camera is mounted below the robot work area. Once the pin's orientation is verified, the good pin is placed into an insulated connector assembly. Through FANUC iRVision, the robot is also able to detect defective pins. If a bad pin is found, the robot does not place the pin into the connector assembly, but instead drops it into a reject pile and continues its work. Once this insulated connector reaches its capacity, the job is complete; so the tray recycles the pins back to the conveyor, and the demonstration starts over.

FANUC M-2000iA/1200 Weldment Handling Robot -- Ellison Technologies Automation

FANUC Material Handling - www.fanucrobotics.com For this handling application, Ellison Technologies has selected a FANUC M-2000iA/1200 robot to transfer large weldments. This robot was chosen because of its extremely high payload -- The M-2000iA/1200 robot can handle up to 1350 kilograms, or about 3000 pounds. The weldments seen in this application weigh less than half of the robot's payload at 1300 pounds. This robot's end of arm gripper makes up the remaining payload and is designed to pick and place four different types of weldments. The weldments are placed on an inbound conveyer and indexed to the robot. The robot is able to locate the weldment on the inbound conveyer using FANUC 3DL iRVision. The robot picks the weldment and uses FANUC 2D iRVision to locate the weldment in its gripper. By finding the locating bushing on the weldment, the robot can offset the taught path to the actual weld fixture load position. The M-2000iA then places the weldment into the welding fixture. Once the weldment is in the fixture three robots complete the final weld. When the weldments are being welded or anytime the flash curtains are in the up position, the robot enables FANUC Dual Check Safety or DCS. DCS is position monitoring software that allows for safe entry into one weld cell while another weld cell and the M-2000iA are still running production. DCS also ensures that the M-2000iA and weldments in the robot's gripper will not enter a weld cell while the curtain is in the up ...
